December 3rd 7-10pn Opening Reception at The Art Fine Art Centre. 124 Dundas Street, London Ontario. (next to Kingsmill`s) Known for my use of vibrant colour, I decided to try and have impact with image, shadow and texture. This show will show case the the lastest group of works title "Black and White". The series will be displayed for the month of Dec. This is an open invitation event.

October 22-25,2009 12:00-5pm My painting ``Submerged`` has been accepted by an art jury for the Museum London. Getting accepted to a Museum is great personal accomplishment for me, and I would like to thank everyone for all there support and encouragement. My art will be in their JASS London Art Show and Sale at the Museum London Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25 between 12:00 to 5:00pm. There will also be JASS London Afternoon Tea on Saturday and Sunday. I hope you can come to the exhibit and bring friends and family.

" I 've had the good fortune, to join The Arts Projects residential artists, and the art movement that has been taking place in the heart of downtown London, Ontario. Know as TAP in the artists community, is a facility for artists to gather to create and show their work in their many galleries. Sunday June 27-Oct 4 2009 from 11-4pmSunday in the Square Art Show - Covenent Garden Market, downtown London. This wonderful event will be taking place every Sunday through out the summer til October 4th. Artist from near and far will be gathering to display original works of art and hand made treasures for all to purchase. The artists, myself included will be setting up displays in the square at the Covenent Garden Market, just across the street from the Labatt's Centre. Please join us and help support your local art community.

Monday, Setember 17th 2009 BeeCause Juried Art Exhibition - The Arts Project. The exhibition and auction will be in support of London's arts incubator, The Arts Project, and the Canadian Bee Research Fund, a Canadian research initiative focused on the disappearance of honeybees. On the evening of September 17, 2009 HONEY Design will host a special event, auctioning the artwork live. My piece "Bees knees", a 36' x 36' Oil on canvas, was one of twenty juried selected pieces for the BeeCause art exhibition at The Arts Project. www.beecause.ca for more info.

September 15th, 2009from 6-9pm- Opening Reception Upstairs Downstairs Exhibition by the Resident Artists of the ARTS Project . Please join us for An Exhibition of Resident Artists at The ARTS Project. Featuring: Brian Dirks, Valda-Christine Glennie, David Lindsay, Rob Nelson Anna Wieselgren, Oswaldo DeLeon Kantule, Samantha Chilvers,Rob Chilvers and myself Angela Fisher. I will be featureing my series "Wet", a collection of Oil on gessoed canvas.

Saturday, August 1st-30th 2009 from 7-11pm Williams Coffee Pub 3030 Wonderland Rd, will be having an opening night exhibit of local Artist work Angela Fisher. (Open to the public)  The exhibition runs for the month of August featuring large oil and acrylic on canvas.

Latest Works

 

Angela Fisher is a classically trained fine artist, her artistic background goes back three generations. She started drawing and painting as soon as she was able to hold pencil as a child. Her parents, seeing she had artistic talent, encouraged her greatly as a young child to utilize her artistic, creative talent. She began her art studies in the renowned arts program at the H. B. Beal S. S. In London Ont. After leaving high school she enrolled in the full time program at Fanshawe College for Photography, and then Fine Arts. she continued her her studies at the University of Western Ontario. Fisher is primarily a Realist Artist, but enjoys bringing a contemporary twist to her art.

She has received many awards, and her paintings and drawings are in many private and corporate collections.
